I’m a data scientist and AI consultant who believes understanding technology shouldn’t require a technical background, a Silicon Valley tech-bro personality, or blind trust in systems we had no say in.

I’ve spent the last decade working at the intersection of people, technology, and business, watching powerful tools get adopted faster than people are taught how they actually work, or what the consequences might be. Too often, conversations about AI are driven by hype, fear, or gatekeeping. If you don’t buy this, your business will fall behind. Rarely do we pause to ask who benefits, who bears the risk, or whether these tools truly align with our lives and values.

While sitting in a machine learning class during my master’s program, I realized just how much of our world is shaped by systems most people are never taught to understand whether through recommendations, nudges, or automated decisions. Many of our choices are influenced long before we’re even aware of them.

I built Data Conscious Collective from a simple belief: understanding AI and data is a form of agency. When you understand how technology shapes your options, you can make more intentional decisions at work, at home, and within the systems you participate in every day.

My work focuses on translating complex technology into clear, real-life language, so you can engage with AI thoughtfully, protect what matters, and use tools in ways that actually align with your values. I care as much about how technology is used as whether it’s used at all.

I’m the face of this work, but I’m not doing it alone. Data Conscious Collective is a growing ecosystem of education, community, media, and advisory, built to normalize data conversations and make technology feel like something that adds value to our lives, rather than a requirement to keep up with the world.
